Our Story

For some young people, the world becomes small long before they are old enough to understand why.

Political crisis, displacement, language barriers, and limited opportunity can shape a childhood before a student gets to shape their own future.

GYEA exists to widen that world through English conversation, reading, and culturally meaningful book clubs that build confidence, friendship, curiosity, and voice.

Sometimes hope looks like a book. Sometimes it sounds like a new word spoken with confidence. Sometimes it is simply another young person showing up again next week.
